Watermelon and Sea moss Smoothie

What you’ll need - 

2 cups of watermelon 

2 tablespoons of sea moss

2 tablespoons of honey 

2 cups of water or juice

1 cup of frozen strawberries

1 cup of lime juice or 1 whole lime

1 cup of ice

A few mint leaves

Add the watermelon, frozen strawberries and water or juice into the blender. Blend Blend Blend. 

Next add the sea moss , honey, lime juice, and ice into the blender. Now once again lets Blend Blend Blend. 

Finally , add the mint leaves on top and enjoy! If your smoothie is too runny , add more ice and blend some more.

This recipe is great for anyone and the best part is you can change out the ingredients. Try it with bananas and frozen blueberries for a Banana and Blueberry smoothie. Or just add banana instead of watermelon for a classic Strawberry Banana smoothie. The options are endless! Try it out for yourself, you will not be disappointed. 

Let us move on to another pretty popular recipe among the sea moss community. The Traditional Jamaican Irish Moss Drink. This drink is known as the love potion by the locals. The reason for this name is because sea moss has sexual enhancement properties for men. But do not be fooled, this Jamaican irish moss drink is a favorite for both men and women. 


Jamaican Irish Moss Drink


Ingredients you will need - 


3 large dates

2 tablespoons of sea moss gel

1 tablespoon of coconut cream

1 cup of Almond Milk or any milk of your choice

1 teaspoon of Cinnamon 

A pinch of Nutmeg


Once you have all of the ingredients , add them into a blender and blend. Then you are ready to pour into a cup , top it off with some cinnamon and enjoy!

Now that fall is upon us, we’d love to share with you some great fall recipes that can be made with sea moss gel. A popular fall drink that has been around for a very long time is the infamous Pumpkin Spice Latte. Let’s get started with the recipe. 


Sea Moss Pumpkin Spice Latte 


All you’ll need is:


1 cup Milk (Oat Milk is our choice)

2 Tablespoons of Sea Moss

2 Tablespoons of Pumpkin Puree

2 Tablespoons of Maple Syrup (to add sweetness) 

2 Shots of Espresso

1 teaspoon of Pumpkin Spice

Whipped Cream (optional)

Place the milk, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, pumpkin spice in a microwaveable bowl. Microwave for 1-2 minutes or until the milk is hot. Whisk the hot milk until it becomes a foamy consistency. This should take about 30 seconds.


Pour the espresso into a mug along with the sea moss gel and mix until the gel has dissolved.


Add the foam on top for the perfect Sea Moss Pumpkin Spice Latte, serve and enjoy!

3 pieces of Banana

5 pieces of Strawberries

2 tablespoons of Sea Moss Gel

1 teaspoon of Vanilla (we will be using a sugar free vanilla)

Half a can of Cream 

Half a can of Condensed Milk

Add all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. You can add some ice to make the ice cream colder or use frozen fruit to make the consistency colder.

We suggest freezing the ice cream until it is solid for about 2-4 hours. Or you can eat it as a soft serve without freezing it. 

You should definitely try this homemade ice cream recipe. You can get creative and substitute the fruits to make an ice cream flavor of your choice.  Give it a try and share with us your creations. 


Lastly, one of our all time favorite sea moss recipes is a smoothie bowl. The reason for this being our favorite is because sea moss is a great dietary supplement that can help subside cravings. Nutritious Sea Moss Acai Bowl


1 cup of nonfat milk (you can also use juices or coconut water for this)

1 cup of frozen Banana 

1 cup frozen Strawberries

1 cup frozen Blueberries 

1 Tablespoon of Honey for sweetness

2 Tablespoons of Sea Moss Gel

Granola or Oats for topping

Add your nonfat milk , bananas, strawberries, honey and sea moss gel into a blender and blend. You can add chia seeds or flaxseeds to make your bowl more filling. 


Once you have the right thick smoothie consistency, add it to a bowl and top it off with some granola or oats. You can also add fresh fruits and coconut shavings on top to make a beautiful but delicious acai bowl. 


The great thing about sea moss is that it is flavorless and can be added into almost anything. You can add it into your coffee and tea. Baking cookies ? Add some sea moss.
