Let's Make Sea Moss Hot Chocolate

With the recent snowy days and cold winter chills , we thought it would be a great time to share some delicious hot chocolate recipes. There’s nothing better than enjoying a cup of hot chocolate and cuddling up in a blanket during this time of year.

For me , I love my hot chocolate to be rich and creamy and perfectly sweetened. I think I can speak for almost everyone in this sense. So , I wanted to share my favorite ways to make hot chocolate with the addition of sea moss.

Sea moss has an endless number of benefits. Organics Nature Sea Moss is tasteless and perfect for adding into drinks like these. Also, the collagen and sea moss powder has the perfect flavoring for such chocolatey drinks.

The first recipe is probably my favorite. It is a simple but unique take on what most people think of when they hear hot chocolate.

White Hot Chocolate

Into a small saucepan , add milk of your choice , white chocolate , and vanilla extract. Heat up all of these ingredients and whisk frequently to avoid it from sticking.

I would recommend trying this with the Collage and Sea Moss Powder to add a little extra sweetness. Add the powder during the whisking process. Once the white chocolate is all melted , you can transfer it into a cup.

If you want to use sea moss gel instead for this recipe , simply add your gel into the cup once you remove it from the stove.

Top it off with some marshmallows , shredded white chocolate , or cinnamon.

Now sit back, relax and enjoy.

This next recipe is the classic version of hot chocolate. It’s a classic but just as good at helping with that sweet tooth.

Milky Hot Chocolate

You’ll need a saucepan again. Pick your milk , and your favorite chocolate. We used almond milk and milk chocolate.

Add your milk , milk chocolate and your choice of sweetener into the saucepan. We are also adding the collagen and sea moss powder here.

Some options for the sweeteners are sugar, honey , monk fruit sweetener and vanilla extract. We use monk fruit.

Whisk all of the ingredients until the chocolate is completely melted and the milk is hot. Now you can transfer the hot chocolate from the saucepan to a cup.

If you want to use sea moss gel instead for this recipe , simply add your gel into the cup once you remove it from the stove.

Top it off with some garnishments like marshmallows, chocolate chips, whipped cream or whatever you like.

Get cozy and sip away!

You may or may not have heard of this last recipe. Nonetheless, you'll definitely want to try it!

Mexican Hot Chocolate

Into a saucepan add milk and half & half. This will make the drink richer and creamier.

Once the milk and half & half are slightly heated, you can add the chocolate of your choice into the saucepan. This is also the step where you can add your sweetener and your collagen powder into the saucepan.

Now this next step is what makes this hot chocolate Mexican. Add some cinnamon and cayenne pepper into the mix. Just a pinch of each will turn up the heat for this recipe.

Let all of your ingredients heat up and melt together before adding it into a cup.

If you want to use sea moss gel instead for this recipe , simply add your gel into the cup once you remove it from the stove.

This recipe is perfect if you love a sweet and spicy mix in your drinks. Top it off with some garnishments of your choice and enjoy!
